We are pleased to offer this beautifully built stone house located in Kalkan’s Old Quarter. Once a dilapidated Greek stone house, the property was demolished and completely rebuilt in 2006/7. The house was designed by one of Turkey’s premier conservation area architects and has been featured in several publications for its innovative blend of old and new style as well as its secret plunge pool.
The house has lovely position overlooking the water channel down towards the beach, which is just a few minutes walk away. Unusual for such Old Town properties, the house has no adjoining neighbours and benefits from two small patio garden areas plus a large sea view roof terrace. The old houses to the immediate east side are currently being renovated as part of a private hotel project, which once completed, will further enhance the immediate area of this protected Old Quarter. The beach front too is seeing a complete new development by Kas council further solidifying the commitment of investment in this very special area on Turkey’s coast.
The house is accessed by a private gate and pathway to the side. To the front is a small patio area with the morning sun. Once inside the main living floor is mainly open plan with a kitchen/dining area and lounge.
