Black Lion Property Services was established back in November 2001 just as foreign buyers first started to purchase property. Over the 24 years we have been operating, we have seen many changes to the industry.

The property boom of 2002-2006 and the subsequent decline following the worldwide financial collapse. Then came the immense growth of the private holiday rental market, and in recent years the strong demand for relocation homes during property during the Covid pandemic. In last years we have seen new regulations of the holiday rental market and the Turkish banking sector.  The market dynamics continue to change as does the profile of our property buyers.

As a family business we continue to strive to offer the most personal and professional service to our clients and keep apace of new regulations and requirements in the international property industry. In 2004 we filmed with Amanda Lamb’s for Channel 4 “A Place in the Sun!” which has been re run an embarrassing number of times since.
